Carabiner slingshot

Carabiner slingshot

Dimension:
Height: 15cm
With: 9,5cm
Dept: 3cm

I made this little slingshot from 3 carabiners, a bolt, some screws and a little bit of plywood. The carabiners for forks makes it really easy to put on and take off a tubular bandset. It also have knife and a saw in the handle and it can be hang from your belt.

Here is a basic tutorial for making this.

I stared with choosing the basic design

Then you want a 4cm hole saw and some plywood, 6-9mm birch plywood is the best option. I used this laminated waterproof playwood.

Saw out two circles and sand the edges with some 80 or similar sandpaper.

Now if your handle carabiner is thicker you want to carve out a bit of wood, i used my dremel-tool with a cutting and grinding woos disk.
Trace your handle and carve it
out like this.

I used this disc for that.

Now put a bolt with washers and a lock nut true the circels, put the carabiners in place and thighten the nut. Also I used 3 self drilling metal screwes to hold everyting in place.

Now just cut off the bolt sand it like you want and add some bands.
