New slingshot

This is a slingshot made from free scrap wood.
The core is made from two layers of 9mm plywood with 2 scales of hardwood and some aluminium inlay. I drilles out two brass bolts, treded them in and cut them flush and filed them round. So you can use flatbands or tubes with this slingshot.

Bedside table

Homemade Bedside Table

I needed a new bedside table so I made my own. I also took care of
another problem, my cats biting off my charging cords. So i made this
bedside table with a built in charging station for my phone and ipad.

This table is made like a qube 40cm x40cm x40cm.
The sides and the 2 vertical "shelves" are made from
glued pine board that I bought from the hardware store,
the top is made from raw sawed timber from home, that I
planed with a electric hand plane and sanded with a beltsander
and hand sandpaper.

It has a drawer and some space under the drawer for storage

I made the drawer mytself aswell but is in simply gliding on top of the
wood board with a small piece wood to stop it from falling out

I made two grooves woth my roter, one for the charging cabels and
one for the led litghtstrip.

This is how the back looks like

I dont have any plans or pictures from the building because
I didn´t know how it would turn out.

Medieval crossbow

Medieval style crossbow

This is a medieval style crossbow that i made from playwood with a bow
from a cobra crossbow pistol, it isnt as strong as the cobra because
it only has about half the dra or the cobra.

It is made from 4 layers of 12mm plywood, some scrap steel cut
to the arrow clamp. The stirrup is made from two scap pieces of
metal the I wrapt in some cord.

The trigger is made from 2 layers of stronger "waterproof" plywood.

This is a basic drawing of the trigger mechanism that I used.

My first slingshot

My first slingshot

This is the first slingshot that i made from plywood. It is made from
cheap 9mm 3 layer plywood.
It is lackerd with boat lacker so it is completely water
proof.

It is built up from 4 layers of plywood and has a
aluminium core.
It is okay to shoot but really not too comfortable.

3 slingshots

Here is tree new simple slingshots that i have made
This one is simply a natural fork that have been sanded
smooth and oiled with olive oil. This one is made from
juniper.

This is another natural fork that has been lacquered and wraped
in nylon cord. It also has a container on the bottom made from
a bottle top to hold ammo or something else. I beleve it
is made from aspen.

This one has a fork made from a bent steel rod and a handle made
from birch, the fork is just glued in.

Carabiner slingshot

Carabiner slingshot

Dimension:
Height: 15cm
With: 9,5cm
Dept: 3cm

I made this little slingshot from 3 carabiners, a bolt, some screws and a little bit of plywood. The carabiners for forks makes it really easy to put on and take off a tubular bandset. It also have knife and a saw in the handle and it can be hang from your belt.

Here is a basic tutorial for making this.

I stared with choosing the basic design

Then you want a 4cm hole saw and some plywood, 6-9mm birch plywood is the best option. I used this laminated waterproof playwood.

Saw out two circles and sand the edges with some 80 or similar sandpaper.

Now if your handle carabiner is thicker you want to carve out a bit of wood, i used my dremel-tool with a cutting and grinding woos disk.
Trace your handle and carve it
out like this.

I used this disc for that.

Now put a bolt with washers and a lock nut true the circels, put the carabiners in place and thighten the nut. Also I used 3 self drilling metal screwes to hold everyting in place.

Now just cut off the bolt sand it like you want and add some bands.
